LTP is a not for profit organisation delivering specialist Substance Use training. We are dedicated to reducing risk to individuals and those affected by the use of substances whether on the roads, on the streets, in the home or the workplace. We are committed to providing ethical, non judgemental, socially responsible professional packages of education and training.

LTP Driver Training deliver the DVSA Approved Drink Drive Rehabilitation Course. This course follows the syllabus created by the DVSA and other professionals from HMCTs, Criminal Justice and health to reduce the future risk of further drink driving.

LTP Corporate deliver a range of courses supporting Employers and their Employees, Health Care, Criminal Justice and Community Support professionals.

LTP facilitators are experienced, qualified substance use specialists, healthcare professionals and teachers/trainers who will provide practical knowledge which can be used by our course attendees to practically assess substance use including alcohol and future risk.

The Team


Kay Woollas

Kay has worked as a drug and alcohol professional for over 30 years. She has worked for Addaction, Turning Point, HIV Support services, Lincolnshire Criminal Justice and Social Services. Kay has developed training, policy and formal educational approaches in a variety of settings, from higher education to health and social care staff, to more informal community programmes. Kay is a member of FDAP (Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals). She is also qualified tutor and assessor previously teaching for Lincolnshire DAAT, as well as Further Educational.

Ian McDonnell

Ian McDonnell

Ian is a security professional with over 25 years of experience in anti-terrorism. Qualified in substance misuse, Ian is also a practising magistrate.


Jane Ball

Jane is currently delivering the Drink Drive Rehabilitation courses for LTP Driver training. She has a wealth of knowledge having been a police officer and a nurse both in the community and the prison service. Jane spent several years living in India volunteering at a local school educating the children. Jane is always smiling and is a lovely positive addition to our team.


Emma Woods (nee Moreton)

Emma has been working in the drug and alcohol field for over 15 years. She is a qualified tutor and assessor who delivers’s the Level 1, 2 and 3 Substance Misuse Course in Further Education. Emma has a wealth of knowledge in supporting young and adult carers, co-ordinating educational, assessment processes, policies, legislation and developmental projects.
